The German Federal Court of Justice has once again ruled in favor of our client, Las Navas Garcia, confirming the validity of its patent despite a renewed challenge.

Our team, led by Konstantin Schallmoser, has the opportunity to file for damages at the UPC, following the approach used in the Fives vs. Reel case, which highlighted a landmark decision on damages last month.

Therefore, this case is another example of the UPC’s jurisdiction over damages claims, which could offer a faster and more cost-effective alternative to national courts.
