22nd Oxford International Intellectual Property Moot

From March 19 to 22, 2025, the Bucerius Law School attended the 22nd Oxford International Intellectual Property Moot.

The team, consisting of Kolja Lagemann, Alicia Albrecht and Carl Gremmel, reached the quarterfinals as the only remaining European or civil law team, where they faced a strong unit from the University of Ottawa.

This year’s moot problem focused on trademark law, addressing issues such as the scope of accompanying circumstances in assessing the likelihood of confusion and the extent of protection for well-known marks.

The event provided an opportunity for the students to connect with teams from around the world and to experience Oxford’s vibrant atmosphere.

We are proud to support the whole team with our sponsoring our participation.
